Up for sale are these Flying Colors Aviator sunglasses.
They are the Arista gold frame variant with white enamel paint and matching white ear paddles. With constant density B15 brown lenses. Nosepads are the transparent etched versionApprox. 138mm wide from hinge to hinge.
In 1986 Ray-Ban released a colourful set of Aviator sunglasses calling them Flying Colors. An attempt to introduce the brand to a younger audience. A fairly successful release, in 1989 Ray-Ban expanded the set by changing all the lenses for photochromatic versions and called it the Classic Colors.Markings present, which includes stamp to the bottom of the brow bar and Ray-Ban white, cursive signature to the left lens. The ceramic painted coating has chipped and scraped in some areas of the frame but nothing too serious and neither does it distract from the overall pleasing aesthetics. The temples are tight and true. The 58mm sized lenses are etched at the standard hinge point position and are in overall very good condition. Both lenses have marks which do not affect vision in any way, shape or form.
A very good example for both end user and collector.
